I'm blogging this when xuan is opposite me and we're mugging at bugis, where you feel so motivated to mug cos others are all mugging beside you.

Taking a break cos market structure is DAMN boring. And with all the curves AR TC SCREW YOU LA.

Anyway, NLB introduced the queue thingie and like you have to queue up to get into bugis studylounge in the morning. Kinda better in a way, so you don't have to rush in like a mad herd of cows.

At the rate we're mugging, we better do well for MCTs, right xuan?

Gonna dedicate one day to baking after MCTs. My cool oven omg new oven no more using of the microwave to bake YESSSS ! (leads to better efficiency, SEE LOOK AT MY ECONS BRAIN. )

Gonna bake cupakes with icing (yay for the first time in my life ! haven't really played around with icing before. )

Oh and i wanna learn photoshop. Kinda sucks that I have my camera and that i don't use photoshop to post process them );

Total mark i can get is 25/80. GREAT JOB HANLE.

Random rants.

1) I hate studying. Okay maybe i don't hate studying but i hate studying for exams. Theres that stress of wanting to do well and fear of failing really badly so that sucks and I hate that feeling so yeah. But i guess thats what everyone feels too. Have to get at least C average and B for CLL if i wanna get my H3 CLL. ): And keep my scholarship.

2) PW sucks. Ah but the gahmen says we have to do PW and being good Singaporeans like we are means we follow what the government says. Xuan says that PW was initiated by some teacher from SA. AH THANKS AH MAKE OUR LIFE MORE MISERABLE. HAHAHHAHAHA i'm quite crazy now. But I have a quite cool PW group so we're gonna aim for our A! GO TJ018!!!!!

3) Titans is cool. I think coming into Teejay really changed me cos I really participated in things that i NEVER ever would join if i didn't go into TA. Things like Cheerleading ! (Which i've come to love, maybe its all the great people inside),House comm and Titans cos I'm simply not a sporty person. We've got a great team and thanks huangrui for chasing those people to get them to join (: Go ALPHA TITANS <3>

4) Its not good to have your brother study with you at Macs cos you'll be worried for him when he runs around and learn words like ..... from the guys. And that defeats the purpose of studying cos you won't be able to concentrate.

5) I wanted to make a list of the things i wanted to do after promos but I was like heck cos I won't follow the list.

6) I wish promos were a week earlier so they will end a week earlier.

7) Chineselit and econs on the same day. Sucks.

8) My blog's very pictureless.

9) I haven't met up with a lot of people in a damn long time.

10) On a positive note, after everything i get to go to yunnan OCIP and LEP trip to TAIWAN! WHICH IS LIKE THE BEST PLACE EVER.

OMG I FINALLY BAKED AFTER RYIERY68768726381546384340 YEARS.

Condensed Milk Pound Cake

1 cup unsalted butter at room temperature
1 and 1/3 cups cake flour
3/4 tsp baking powder
1/2 cup sugar
2 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp salt
3/4 cup sweetened condensed milk
3 large eggs

1. Preheat oven to 325 F. Butter an 8 1/2 x 4 1/2 inch loaf pan and set aside.
2. Sift together the flour, baking powder and salt.
3. In a bowl beat butter and white sugar until light and fluffy about 2 minutes. Add condensed milk and vanilla beat until well incorporated.
4. Add the sifted dry ingredients and beat until no traces of flour remains.
5. Beat in the eggs one at a time, beating well and scraping the bottom and sides of the bowl after each additions.
6. Transfer batter into the prepared pan. Bake until the top is dark golden brown and a tester inserted in the center comes out clean (about 50 to 60 mins) . Cool and slice.

This cake is quite easy to make, but I think I kinda overbaked it, so the edges look a bit burnt.

Went swimming with xuan ytd !

haha our usual swimming date at hg swimming pool ! decided to make it a fortnightly thing COS WE MUST BE HEALTHY. and i must learn how to swim cos I ABSOLUTELY SUCK AT SWIMMING.
i cannot tread water. if i want to remain afloat i have to keep swimming.
and i can't breaststroke for nuts. DAMN HARD CAN although xuan kept trying to teach me.
then the others swimming like free. ): I NEED TO LEARN HOW TO SWIM (well) .

what if one day i go some cruise or smth and the boat sinks like the titanic AND I CAN'T SWIM?! xuan have to come with me on every cruise and save me.

My first time in the deep pool heh. as in swimming the length of it omg.
WHY DID I STOP AT JUST ONE CERT ?!
its damn demoralising to see kids who are one fifth my size swimming better than me.

I've lost the urge to bake recently.
Maybe because I'm quite pissed off with my oven. I WANT A NEW OVEN THAT IS RECTANGULAR AND BIG ENOUGH. Cos presently my oven is a microwave cum oven and that sucks cos EVERYTHING YOU PUT INSIDE HAS TO BE ROUND. i cannot put a square or rectangular baking pan inside (unless its really small) AND I HAPPEN NOT TO LIKE ROUND BAKING PANS. cos i like to cut stuff up into bars.
My mum is CONVINCED that our oven is good enough cos "My friend uses the same oven to bake pineapple tarts during Chinese New Year to sell" THATS COS SHE ONLY BAKES PINEAPPLE TARTSSSSS.

I want a new oven real bad. But i probably won't have time to bake with promos coming up in TEN WEEKS. And because my JCT results ARENT COUNTED IN PROMOS MEANS THAT I HAVE TO WORK EXTRA HARD DAMMIT. Im still a teeny bit unhappy with that fact but well, let it be a motivating factor !

Oh and a nice kitchenaid would be nice (: People go to the meyer shop in tampines 1 to look at the kitchenaids in the window. IN ALL COLOURS OF THE RAINBOW.

My blog deserves an update.

Haha although so many blogging-worthy events have happened since my last post I don't feel like blogging cos i'm too lazy to upload pictures!
Cos nobody sends pictures anymore ): everyone's like GO TAKE FROM FB LA.

Anyway it was our FIRST pw pilot test yesterday!
Was super excited/nervous.
Nobody was willing to take 5 people on their taxi so we had to split into two groups.
And the taxi driver seemed kinda disorientated.

And we arrived at Gongshang !
All the kids seemed so tiny omg. like up till my waist. I can't imagine I was that small before. GOSH.
So we went to this class for the pilot test and it went pretty well. The boys inside were damn naughty. AND THERE WAS THIS BOY INSIDE THAT ALL OF US DISLIKED. We have names for all the guys after the lesson. Like CHEEKY BOY and BOY WITH THE BEANIE.

But came to see some of the politics in primary sch though. I was teaching this girl to play the gasing, and the other girls were like "EEEE why did you touch the gasing first ?! Now no one wants to touch it anymore." URGH SO MEAN RIGHT. then the girl didnt care about them and continued playing.
I asked them: " Why do you all not like her?" and they said "Cos she has weird perfume" which basically means she has B.O. And they seriously do not talk to her at all.
Kinda pity the girl cos she has no friends at all. Like seriously no one talks to her.
Sigh. ):

The teacher Mrs Soh was really really nice ! :D
She cooperated with us really well (: and even gave us chocolates after helping us conduct the lesson !
And she said that edwin was very naughty last time cos she was his teacher.
HAHA.
Interviewed Mrs Soh and went to eat canteen food. PRIMARY SCH CANTEEN FOOD IS THE BEST.
For only ONE DOLLAR i get to eat one FRIGGIN big bowl of noodles which was damn nice. I MISS PEI CHUN.

In conclusion, GOOD JOB TO PW018 FOR A FANTASTIC PILOT TEST ! WE'RE GONNA ACE PW TOGETHER. :D

Went to IT fair and saw this camera. I want !!!Its not a dslr, its more like a more advanced digicam.
its v cool i like the pics it takes, can do really good multishots (good for jumpshots haha) and do double exposures (like a holga!) It can kinda do everything a dslr does, except for the lenses thing.
Ah wait for the price to drop first. But i'll definitely get it (:

back from lep camp !

lep camp was not as bad as i thought it to be, but it was quite fun in a way cos my group was quite cool and we had cool lecturers like yang jun wei ! and plus we had a very good hostel (singapore sports school!) and good food. i swear the milo in sports sch is super thick and nice and not super thin like milo usually is. eh they're sponsored by milo ! so they probably have unlimited lifetime supply of milo !

YUNNAN OCIP( oops its supposed to be TOOP) ROCKS.
Sold flowers at the CO, Band, and choir concerts !
didnt go for CO concert cos i was at HC camp, but the band and choir concerts were FANTASTIC.
Flower selling for Choir concert didnt go very well, people seemed to have bought their flowers beforehand alr): so in the end we had to decrease to $1 per stalk.
But flower selling went well for Band concert ! Haha had translation comp @AHS that morning, so went to sch to see how drama was doing before going to vch.
Went for lunch with edwin before going to vch. OUR FOOD TRIP! Ate rou zao mian + hun dun at wonton story @bugis junction, then went to eat jco donuts. walked around for awhile, then went to get another donut and edwin went to get toriQ. gosh the money we spend on food.
Went vch to tie ribbons on the flowers! the flowers on band day were pink (: pity they didnt have the yellow ones.
YUGHAN WAS DAMN HILARIOUS DURING THE SKIT I SWEARRR.
cannot tahan i just kept laughing LOL.

Went to eat hk cafe with jinyi aonan and edwin after the concert ! oh embarassed ms azyanti before that by singing her a birthday song in front of everyone.
Laughed about a lot of things while waiting for the food to come, like jinyi's accidental malaysian accent. LOL

I'm proud of myself and the rest of the 17th, cos i know we really pushed ourselves to the limit.
Thanks to the 16th for pushing us to the max and pushing us to do things that we wouldnt have done in our whole life if not for the hc camp.
Just kinda sad that i didn't join y'all for the last few activities cos of my injured foot. ): esp when i saw y'all from the grandstand doing that last 20 pushups and carrying simon around the track. asked teresa if i could join y'all, but she said better not. gah why did i get injured !

Went for ocip orientation ytd.

Was late and caught a cab to school (10 bucks wtf ! )
Was only 10 minutes late.(this is good considering that i got on the cab at 850.

Went to tampines with shiyan after ocip orientation to do our posters.
ended up at tampines 1 WHICH IS OMFG HUGE AND NICE.
i wanna pon sch just to go there.
and the new jap shop is damn nice just that there was a SUPER long queue outside the store. so we didn't get to go in.
shiyan saw her dream backpack and is determined to buy it.

Its over.
All our trainings, looking forward to cheerleading after school, trying out new stunts, practicing stunts, everything and everything. Its over.
But what won't be over is our friendship, the bonds we've forged, and the fun we've had putting this performance together.

omg im damn happy ask the cheer people i've been high-ing since thursday.
like i'll go wheeee i'm happy cos today is thursday and tomorrow will be friday and after friday its the march holidays !!!!!!!

okay la but its only a week ):

i'm gonna bake stuff ! but maybe i won't have time. ):
my parents refuse to get me a proper oven. they say i don't bake enough for them to get me one. HELLOOOOOOOOOO.
okay maybe i don't really bake that much. BUT I STILL WANT A PROPER BIG OVEN.
dad says it costs 2000+. As in i told him to get a normal regular one but he says that no point. might as well use ours now.
But the irritating thing about my microwave cum oven now is that it has this round turntable thing. and it turns around when its baking so i can't put any rectangular/square baking tin inside. So notice the things i bake are always in muffin cups or they're round. and its super irritating to bake cookies as well cos you can't estimate the space between each of them. and you can't bake them in double layers cos the cookies i put on my wire rack with baking paper will sink down. as in they'll take the shape of the rack. so not nice ):

preferably something like that. but don't need to be too big la my house no space.
Saw this really nice recipe for horlicks cookies. damn cute hope i can bake them someday this week.

haha today's flag raising was damn funny. We were all like "half day half day" and we listened about how the nominees wanted to get into sc and how they wanted to serve the school and blah. Then Mr Aziz went up to stage and was like I have two morning announcements. Then he finished his announcements and went down. THEN MRS LOKE WENT UP ON THE STAGE AND EVERYONE STARTED CHEERINGGGGGGGG.
Mrs Loke:" I am sure many of you all know what I am up here for. Your seniors did well in the alevel exams, and therefore, in celebration of that, we are going to end school at 10 AM TODAY!"

OMG THEN ALL OF US STARTED JUMPING AROUNDDDDDDD. YAYYYAYYAYYYAYYYAY.
aiyah but i rather we have half day tmr ): cos today is my earliest day.
saw zhulaoshi after flag raising and crowded around her. Mel was like thank you for teaching the seniors so they do well and we have a half holiday :D

First period was h2 math lecture so i had a free period. free period was spent sitting in the canteen and listening to chenyin tell me about how she cried while watching huanzhu gege. It was the part where the evil rong momo found the doll of the emperor and ziwei got caught and put into jail. Then in jail they used the super evil thing to kiap her fingers. And when she finally got released erkang was like why can't i protect you (In chinese) and blah. Then chenyin took out her huan zhu gege songbook and we started singing huanzhu gege songs. OMG <3 .
The others at the table were like seriously weirded out by us. (HAHA WE ARE CHEENAPOKS AND WE DON'T CARE!)

Went for GP which was extremely funny also. My group's a funny group. Xuanzheng was the only one who did the hw. haha then we went to brainstorm to fill up answers for the worksheet. and we made the assumption that human beings are gonna have a future cos they're gonna continue having sex and reproducing. in the end we saboed chenyin to go and present and she refused to say that point (HAHA) think the teacher got a bit pissed lol.

Waited for shiyan and grace and mel to finish their essay test, then talked about the cheerleading costume and went to cityplaza with reuben, shanna ,helena, shiyan grace! cabbed there cos it was raining v heavily. haha and we concluded that cityplaza was a chicken place. :D
went to parkway after that. (HAHA WE KEPT TALKING ABOUT FOOD)

Conclusion for today: Cheerleading people rule :D

And to our best cheer capt shiyannn ! WE LOVE YOU AND YOU ROCKKK.
I have a good feeling about this year and im sure the rest of us do too.

I'm having nostalgic feelings :/
I totally dislike school. With all our drastically horrendous timetables ):
used to reach home at 5.30, now i end at 5.30.
How sucky is that.
I kinda miss TA, in fact i miss life before TA even more when i was in chungcheng.
Wait for chinyu at her void deck every morning, take her dad's car to school, chat/sleep/gossip on the car. OMG chinyu i miss you la ): see you're having a free life now don't need to be buckled down by school. find someday go eat lunch/dinner or go shop together k !
Reach school, go to the classroom, do last minute homework (or rather copying ) , run to assembly. Listen to the "全体树立，升旗礼开始” Sing national anthem, say the pledge, sing the extremely short school song. Listen to announcements made by the councillors. Listen to Mr Soon call people to the yellow line.
Have lessons which were fun and interesting (compared to now, although we didnt think so then). Whisper and pass messages in class. (amanda yurong xuan). Play bingo (yunting !)
End school.
Go kovan macs after school with xuan to study. Look at people and giggle.
Go home, eat dinner, bathe, use comp, dawdle around, sleep (at a healthy time of before 11) .

That ends my typical sec2 day.

goshhhhh feeling really nostalgic now.
I want to meet up with EVERYONE. so that we can catch up with each other.

HAHA ORIENTATION <3 !

okay never thought i would say that before orientation. but yeah,orientation has been fun. in fact it was even more fun than the ta1 orientation (: (okay it would be even more fun if we didnt have to sit through the stupid subject talks and all those things that we had to do all over again.)
at first i didn't feel happy about attending orientation cos like everything will be the same as ta1 and last year. but yeah, after the amazing race and games and stuff i felt that our OG was more bonded. OH AND SUNTEC MASS DANCE! i swear thats like the best part of orientation everrrrrrrrr. haha long has it been since we last got so high and stuff. oh and o night ! it was really like super fun (: and amiq (is that how you spell his name?) was super cool and therefore won talenttimeeee! damn strong can haha shiyan try to pull him into cheerleading! OH and the alpha cheerleading people met and we shouldersat/elevated people up. krystal shoulder stand on tiongwei k she's super cool. and shiyan sat on me and we elevated crystal up (i think?) AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH CHEERLEADING THIS YEAR. omg i really hope they have it or else sports day is gonna be v boring ): i don't care if there's an INDIAN theme (i know wtf right ?! ) and we're gonna rock the place down (:

( we wanted to say motorcycle accident okay. just that we scared that she will be angry when we tell her we scam her haha)
10am: hanle sent sms: eh yurong tdy actually we want to go your house to kidnap you, but xuan twisted her foot again. she ask you come her house at night about 7 to eat steamboat. you can?
11am: yurong replied: eh but i have to go for the sec 1 orientation bbq at night.

12pm: called yurong. whew she said she's coming cos her mum says that she dont have to go for the bbq cos her mum's going with her sis. WHEW.
started doing misc things like taking the shit out of prawns omg people you better be happy that the prawns you eat during steamboat doesnt have shit cos i took the shit out and xuan snipped the hair/feeler thingo and the sharp stuff off the prawns! ONE HOUR OKAY. and i know the dumplings were nice COS WE MADE THEM OURSELVES. ME AND XUAN BAOED THEM!

4pm: bathed/started being gothic with our crazy eyeliner. I LIKE MY EMO LOOK. xuan super unemo k. hers is the glam version of emo.
6pm: started calling people. WHY ARE THEY NOT THERE YET!
630pm: people are lost on the lrt.
7pm: started freaking out cos no one reached yet. HAHA BUT GOT FANTASTIC NEWS. AMANDA AND YURONG WERE LOST ON THE LRT.
710pm: people started arriving NOT DRESSED UP. zzzzzzzzz. eh you all freaking not fun ley zzz.
715pm: manda called. they were lost on the lrt AGAIN haha.
730: everyone came and we locked ourselves up in xuan's parents room cos yurong and manda were coming.
740pm: manda yurong came, and they forced yurong into xuan's room to dress up OMG.
750pm: went to hide in the kitchen . yurong came out wearing a DRESS (HAHA) and we came out of the kitchen. YURONG'S SHOCKED FACE WAS TOTALLY WORTH IT MANZ.

was puking like dunno what (shouldn't have trusted that stupid doctor, I CAN PRESCRIBE THE MEDICINE HE GAVE ME OKAY. )

on a lighter note im gonna encourage people to become doctors.
cos doctors earn A LOT of money.
okay take for example the doctor i normally go to. (not the one above)
he has 2 shifts, morning and afternoon
and he has about 50 patients per shift.
and he charges around 30 bucks.
so he would have earned 3000 bucks per day.
multiply that by 30, 90000!
minus rental : 80000
minus salaries of his staff: 70000
minus the medicine money: figure it out yourself.

AND THATS ONLY A MONTH!
some people dont even earn that amount a year.

1) I don't wanna do holiday homework. esp math ): WHY DID I TAKE H2 MATH OMG I'M SO GOING TO DIEEEEEEEEEEEE.

2) I hate singapore shoe shops. and shoe shops all over the world. WHY DO YOU ALWAYS STOCK SHOES IN SUCH SMALL SIZES OMG. stop ostracizing people with big feet okay. WE DON'T LIVE IN THE QING DYNASTY. therefore please stock shoes in size 8 and 9. (esp pretty shoes :D )

3) Looking forward to tianjin trip! gosh please let me have a nice buddy and lets hope tianjin people are nice ! ( so far the people i know from tianjin are quite nice like tianyu and huangrui. ) HAHA AND PEOPLE LETS HAVE A FUN TIME IN TIANJIN. Kenny take care of yourself k cos you're sharing a room with edwin and he's a cheekohpeh so you don't know what he might do to you! KEEP PEPPER SPRAY BY YOUR BED! oh and lucky me wanen chenyin are sharing a room so wanen wont do anything to me in the middle of the night. haha went to watch this on friday.

haha met them at orchard and walked around at f21. then walked all the way to cineleisure with jo complaining all the way about how painful her heels were. she was damn tall that day okay. not used to it. and mel looked damn short standing next to her cos she was like wearing four inches or smth.
bought tickets. bought popcorn. and contemplated very long on getting nachos. got nachos in the end.
ah the movie was damn funny! the first scene was like zac efron in the middle of the bball game and he's sweating and panting and you can see the sweat flying all over the screen. we started laughing like nobody's business.

oh and i like this.

Day 1
Take plane to Taipei, our hotel's going to be near ximending.
will be night when we reach there
go to ximending to eat ah zong mian xian, and drink bubble tea (hyperventilates)

then shop around, try to notice potential shuai ges.
go to 7-11 and stock up on food. (just walk 5 steps and you can see a 7-11. and the food is damn good. )
go back to hotel. our hotel will be those kind with adjoining rooms. or 2 double beds. (must be budget a bit lar)

Day 2
Go to Taipei 101, then go to zhong xiao dong lu to shop and see if we can spot any ming xing. eat lunch at a nice place. (preferably lu rou fan, or nice bian dang !!!) continue shopping at zhong xiao dong lu. Go to shilin ye shi at night (take the train! ) will buy the da ji pai with cheese inside and the guan cai ban and OMG FOOD LOTSA FOOD. then go shopping and go kiap those dolls. AND TAKE NEOPRINTS. go back to hotel and pass by ahzongmian xian and bubble tea to see if its still open. if it is buy food back to hotel and eat. WATCH TV IN HOTEL ROOM. (omg omg omg !)

Day 3
Go to some zao can dian they're always talking about in dramas, and eat breakfast. (maybe we'll see qin lang there. ah wth. ) then go to wu fen pu for cheap shopping ! shop there till late and haggle haggle haggle. then go to some shopping mall at nightt. then go back and watch tv ! :D

Day 4
Either we go hongkong transit orrrrrrrr we go up to kending or smth :D
if we go to hk we can go to nu ren jie.

Day 5
Lets go Disneyland(although it sucks ) or ocean park ! then we can eat at the REAL char can teng (unlike the fake ones in singapore. ) after eating dinner we can go and eat nice tang shui.
OMG IT MAKES ME EXCITED JUST THINKING ABOUT IT.

whoo was sick the whole of this weekend.

had a fever yesterday, and swallowed 10 panadols before the fever went down.

haha but my mum and i had been planning our shopping trip on sat since like last week, and so though both of us were sick, we tried to go out asap to escape her sons my brothers.

went to orchardddd. and went to iseatan (is that how you spell it) to use up her voucher first, then went to tangs. (random much but i want a new electronic mixer and a nice big oven. the ones in tangs are so pretty!) mummy bought 3 dresses and i bought none ):

went to wisma after that and forever 21 and cotton on were disappointing. ):

went shopping today too, just because we had to wait for my brother to finish jiang.

went to shop in bugis street the first time this year (the other times were just kinda passing by) and i think the clothes have slightly improved from the checkered cheapskate shitxz that all the lians were wearing. (checkered is damn nice but the way they design their shirts and blouses and whatever sucks. )

saw this boho skirt i really liked in yellow but they only had the long version): i wanted the kneelength version.

I've reached a conclusion that i'm the wrong height. I can't wear most of the dresses they're selling now cos they barely cover my butt and my legs are ugly. but i cant wear boho long skirts also cos i'm not tall enough. dammit.
