I HATE HAZE.

sheesh.
the haze was so serious yesterday that when we were at mavis , we couldnt see paya lebar clearly.
and when i was at my door i couldnt even see the sign Lorong 7 realty park although it was 10 metres away.
AISH.
cant people just stop burning forests?
or maybe they can cut down the trees first if they want to, and then use the wood to make paper or something. then they burn the stumps to fertilise the soil lah.

i feel i am such an environment lover after I studied geog.
and i am such a singapore lover after i studied history.

anyway, haze is a suspension of smoke and dust particles.
it can cause blurring of vision and respiratory problems. it can also form a layer over things very fast. so you have to wash your car more often.

but luckily it isnt smog.
Smog is haze+ poisonous gases.
luckily our neighbours dont have heavy industrialization .

message to people who are burning forests:
what is the friggin problem with you? dont you know that forest fires contribute to the ozone hole and if the ozone layer completely disappears you will probaly be barbecued like ba kua?
people say that paper is precious , cos a tree takes 10s of years to grow into a tree that can be made into paper?
instead of making trees into paper, you are burning them like is no tommorow.
and it is okay if you only affect yourself, but AIR POLLUTION KNOWS NO BOUNDARIES.
and the haze is spread to singapore and malaysia.
then people in singapore and malaysia have to go out less often and the people with asthma get attacks.
IS IT FAIR?
