but if we play games on it in school, it will get CONFISCATED.

and we are buying insurance for it.

and this computer has a fingerprint recognition technology!
so wth. its going to recognise my finger.
so imagine i cut my finger.

and they gave every parent a resource list -_- about those kinda bringing up your child thingos.

there is this insider guide which i think is quite nicely written xD. some articles written by seniors! at least they have a sense of humour.
the first article is written by a person called Kerry Chan. and she put a pic of her and her friends and put something like this at the end of the article

Kerry Chan

okay. i think its funny.

and they have this learning approach:

Our underlying belief is that a student in TA would possess a sufficiently inquisitive mind and positive learning attitude to want to find out more about a new body of ideas or concepts.

simplified:
we believe that TA students are kaypoh to a certian extent and want to know everything about a new thingo.

okay kidding.

and everyone is given an individual locker to keep the tablet inside.

exact exterpt from the handout:

" The College is of the view that gaming is potemtally highly addictive and may cause students to neglect their studies, their friends and their PDPs. hence the College has reiterated to all students that gaming is strictly not allowed in College premises. If caught gaming, the students' tablets will be confiscated and returned only when the parents claim the tablets from the College. Teachers also closely monitor abuse of Tablet PCs in class with appropriate intervention measures such as verbal warning and confiscation of machine for repeat offence."

whew.

one more:

" We would like to remind you that owning and using the tablet in college is a privilege that they should value and uphold with a deep sense of responsibility. On our part, we habe spoken several times to all TA students about the importance of making effective use of and taking good care of the tablets, and will continue to reiterate these messages."

oh. gosh.
luckily, they didnt say no viewing of videos, no listening to music.
or else i will die.

here ends the post.
chongqing post will be later after i tidied all my pics and videos!
tatas!
