i swear it has one of the nicest people. not like in china where they'll ignore you when you ask for directions. they'll actually tell you to turn after how many traffic lights, what you will see there and stuff.
and the teevee programs totally owns singapore.
day one
reached there at around evening to be greeted by the news that theres gna be a typhoon. wth. luckily there wasnt. the tail of the typhoon just swept past, leading to bad air and rains after that.

reached our hotel and went to xi men ding to eat.

this yu suo geng thingie that has fried fish on top. mum thinks its very nice but i think its like okay :/
haha end of day one. lol. ximending isnt that great cos the stuff is basically the same and its not really cheap either. rather like a better version of bugis street. but the stuff there are damn cute and you see singaporeans EVERYWHERE. not kidding.
